What's the weather in the mountains like in September?
In mid-September, the highs could be in the upper 60 to low 70 degree F range, with the lows reaching upper 30 to mid 40 degrees F. Bring layers!
Can our children come to the wedding?
We have mindfully considered only children in our family to attend the wedding, which will be specified on your invitations.
Is the wedding inside or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors on a grassy lawn. Dinner will take place indoors due to cooler temperatures in the evening with dancing out on the open patio area.
Where do we park?
For guests staying at Solitude, parking will be in the Village Lot for the duration of your stay. For guests driving to the venue, it is recommended to park in the Moonbeam Lot.
How do we get to the venue if we don't want to take a chairlift?
Shuttles will be available to and from the venue should you not wish to take the chairlift. For pick up, plan to meet near the Village Bridge. At the end of the reception, guests will be dropped off at the Village stop or Moonbeam Lot depending on their needs.
Is it a long walk from the top of the lift to the venue?
Not too long and should take less than 10 minutes, but if you'd like to bring a change of shoes, please do so. It will likely be a dirt trail. There will be water as you get to the lawn and a bench so you can do a quick shoe change.
The map above specifies two shuttle drop off areas for after the reception, with the "S" circled in green. For pick up to get to the venue, meet at the Village shuttle stop which is the left circled "S", above the gold star.
The lift to The Roundhouse is the Moonbeam Express, located on the right side of the map above public parking.
Guests staying at Solitude will park in Village Parking.
